Introduction
Hello!
There's many different events that Event Team runs! Some are exclusive for forum and some take place only in-game!
This thread will help you understand them and explain different features tied to the event section of the game.
There are four Event Team members:

Basic Information

Most of our events will use these rules, if there are any changes made to them, there's always a annotation about it on the event thread/post.
It's important to always read the rules posted on the topic of said event.

There are currently types of events that we host:

  • Forum events
  • In-game events
  • Hide and Seek
  • Game of Chance
  • Monster Hunts
There will be explained further down.

Rules:
  • Respect your fellow players and staff.
    • This means unsportsmanlike conduct, and general ill-mannered behaviour.
    • We understand that you would love to win a certain prize, but it's not a reason to act ugly towards others!
    • Failing to do so can result in being removed from the winner list and getting banned from future events.
    • This includes outside of the game, such as but not limited to discord, twitch, YouTube, etc.
    • This is warning #1 and we will ban you from those other medium without a second thought if you are disruptive.
  • You may win only once per round. Participating with more than one account/character will result in being removed from the event.
    • Also including entering an event with multiple characters on the same account, even if you vouch to be two different people.
  • If it happens that you win an event:
    • The prizes will be always given to you after the event if fully over and whenever an Event Team member can deposit them.
    • It's always being announced in-game/discord/forum when it's done.
    • The prizes are always in your Premium Storage Tab or ALT+E for Event Points.
    • Prizes are not automated, and we try to issue them quickly we will get to them as soon as possible.
Event Points

For every event you participate in you will be given Event Points. They are the event currency that you can use in the Event Shop at [NPC]Evette.

  • You can earn them by participating in forum or in-game events.
    • Sometimes the amount is small, sometimes big - it depends on the event.
  • You can check how many Event Points you got by clicking the ALT+E command in game or speaking with [NPC]Felice Fete.
  • Event Points are Character Bound;
    • If you have them on character X, character Y even though on the same account, they will be only visible and can be used by character X.
  • You can spend your Event Points at the ALT+E tab or by speaking to [NPC]Evette located in the City of Junon Polis. She holds the Event Shop with exclusive event items!

  • Each bag has its pricing written under the bag name, so you know exactly how many points you need for certain bag.

  • If it happens so that you have Event Points spread over multiple characters/accounts, we won't convert them into one character.

Forum Events:

These events are posted on the Events channel here on forum. All forum events activities can vary depending on the host, make sure to read all the information before entering the event.

The time zone the start and end time of the event may not be in your time zone so make sure to read correctly, you can use this to check the time.

You may only participate with 1 of your accounts you play on with 1 of the characters you use.

Forum Events will be always RNG (Random Number Generated) unless stated differently (depending on the event that's being hosted):

  • Once an event starts, you will have 1 hour 30 minutes up to 24h or even 48h to complete the event and send your correct answers to us.
  • Every player that enters a forum event with a correctly sent email will be placed onto the list.
  • Once the Round finishes, we will draw of the winners from people who sent correct email to us.
  • The point of forum events being RNG, is so everyone has the same chances to win, it doesn't matter if you're an old or new player, or if you send your correct email first or last.
Notes about sending the email:
  • All the emails should be always sent to [email protected].
  • State your character name that you participate/want the prizes on.
  • If the event let you pick prizes:
    • Always indicate what prizes you would like to receive.
    • If you won't state which prizes you want, they will be deposited to you random.
  • Answers to the event:
    • Before you send in your email,
      • try to always double check all your answers.
        • sending multiple emails won't be accepted and you might get disqualified (see above)
  • A screenshot providing all the asked information in the forum post that's needed to win the event - it's always explained what needs to be provided in order to win.
  • If you fail to send a correctly made email:
    • You have to @ one of the Event Team members, depending on who's running the current event and let them know about your mistake.
    • If they say yes, you may resubmit your corrected email. You are allowed one chance.
    • If you send in more emails than allowed, you will be disqualified for that event.
  • You must correctly send email.
    • It’s always explained on the post what is needed to be noted in the email for it to be valid.
      • Character name you participate with.
      • Screenshot of your whole desktop, all of the correct answers etc. (See below example of how to correctly send an email)
If you cannot attach the image/s:
  • We should not have to download anything.
    • please use an image host such as https://imgur.com/ and attach the direct link or an album.
      • This protects you by removing any personal information stored in the file and makes it so easily viewed on all devices.
    • DO NOT use Google Drive, OneDrive, Google One, iCloud, iPhoto’s, Google Photos, or any personal image host.
      • Those share your personal information and are often locked to private.
    • DO NOT send compressed files.
      • Such as rar, zip, 7zip, bin anything of the nature if it needs software to view (even windows) it is not acceptable.
      • Acceptable format would be JPEG or PNG.
  • Below is a simple example of how your email should look like, before sending it in:

How to take the screenshot:
  • You should have a "Print Screen" button on your keyboard - every keyboard has one!
  • Once you do that simply open the "Paint" application on your device and CTR + V (or right click with the right button of your mouse on the white part and select "paste") it into the Paint Application (below is a picture of how it should look)

  • When you assure everything is included in the screenshot simple press the "File" (top left corner of the Paint Application) and "Save As" the made picture either as a .JPG or .PNG file, you can name it anyhow - it doesn't matter (see below)

A correctly made screenshot always has to have:
  • Your character name
  • Opened game client showing your character
  • Mini-map
  • Shows the answer to the event
  • A browser with answers - if required
  • Taskbar with the DATE and TIME
  • For some events you will have to provide both the Game Client, and as example a browser with the answers.
    We do host forum events that consist of Crosswords, Puzzles, Sliding Pictures etc.

    Your screenshot should look like this then if that's the case :

  • You can move around the Mini-map so it's always visible on your Game Client (see that it got moved onto the left side so it fit the rules)
Once you have correctly made screenshot/s simply attach them to the email that you created (see the circle below)

In Game Events:

  • In-game events are never announced days prior of them happening (unlike the forum ones).
  • They are always announced around 30 minutes up to 1 hour before they will happen.
  • It's always random when they will happen, and we will never tell the players the times.
  • Make sure you look at the small chat box above the regular chat to see any Event Announcements.
  • If it's an event like Game of Chance or Hide and Seek:
    • You can only win once (unless stated differently).
    • If we find you cheating:
      • You will not get your prize.
      • You will risk getting banned from all future events.
We currently offer the following events:
  • Monster Hunt
  • Game of Chance
  • Hide and Seek
These will be explained below, they are also explained in game after being announced.

Monster Hunt
  • You have to kill the monsters spawned by a Event Team members
  • It's always indicated in the announcement in which map the monster hunt is taking place.
  • Simply kill the event monsters to receive Event Points or other event goodies.
  • DO NOT use AOE skills / scroll charms / skills:
    • This doesn't work on the event monsters.
    • Their HP will not decrease, and they will not drop any Event Points or goodies if you use skills on them.
  • We highly suggest you only use your basic attack and attack speed gears to kill the event monsters.
  • If someone kill the event monsters around you, or the ones that you're attacking –
    • it doesn't matter, everyone has the same rights to kill them.
    • kill stealing doesn't apply to the Monster Hunt Event.

Seasonal Monster Raffle

Each season will have a special monster raffle tied to that season.

  • The Monster Raffle information will be always posted on forum.
  • The prizes depend on the season and what the event team member who's hosting it, will decide to give out.
To participate in the Seasonal Monster Raffle, you will have to kill one of the monsters that are being spawned by the Event Team during a Monster Hunt.

  • The monster has a % chance to give you a Raffle Ticket, that once you kill the monster will be placed into your inventory.
  • To achieve being placed in the Raffle, you have to give the Raffle Ticket to [NPC]Evette.

  • There is no limit on how many tickets you may enter.
  • The winners of the raffle will be randomly chosen from those who entered and announced once the Seasonal Event is finished.

Game of Chance

The event can be random or with set answers (quiz style event), depending on what the Event Team member who's hosting it will decide.
Always make sure you read any announcements or just simply ask the host.

  • If a Game of Chance event is taking place, you should always head to [NPC]Evette in City of Junon Polis (see the STAR location below)

  • Depending on what the Event Team member who's hosting the current session will decide, there can be rounds with
    • 1 life
    • 2 lives
    • 3 lives
  • The Event Team member should always say how many lives the Game of Chance will have (feel free to always ask us anything)
  • If you correctly took the Quiz Event quest, it should appear on your ALT+Q window.

  • If you don't have the Quiz Event quest in your Journal, you won't be teleported inside the Quiz Map.
  • Once you will be teleported inside, you will have to pick one of the options, depending on what the Event Team member will say.

  • You should always start from the Red Circle, don't go out of it, unless you're told to
  • Depending where you start, you should go on one of the Red Rectangles,
    • either to the 1-4 part one or the Yes-No one.
What to do if:
  • When it’s Random selection:
    • The host say pick a number,
    • you just simply walk on one of the numbers you think is the correct one,
    • if the event is hosted as random without answers, it doesn't matter on which square you will stand, it's the game who picks the correct answer.
  • If the event is hosted with questions/answers, you should stand on the square which you think is the correct one.
    • Example:
    • What's the NPC name who sell Milk in City of Junon Polis?
      1. Harin 2. Chester 3. Darren 4. Lisa
    • Since the correct answer is [1. Harin] you should stand on the square with number 1.

  • If you stand on an incorrect square, you will lose one of your lives.
  • Once you lose all of them, you will be teleported outside of the Quiz Map.
  • If the Event Host say there will be another round, you have to re-take the Quiz Event Quest from Evette once again.
  • You can join the Game of Chance map with only 1 character,
    • Joining with more will result in getting teleported out instantly,
    • Even if you say you didn't join with multiple characters - we know you did!

Hide and Seek
  • We almost always start this event at the [Mayor]Darren in City of Junon Polis (unless it's stated differently).
  • Before the event begin.
    • we will spawn the "prop" that you will need to find so you take a good look at what you must find.
  • There can be different "props" but the most common is the JUMPING EGG
    • Here is an example of how they look:

  • Once the event will start
    • The host will hide the egg somewhere.
  • There will be clues of where the egg could be either:
    • The map name of where the egg is located.
    • A description of the area nearby.
  • The egg will not show on the mini map.
    • It's best if you look into every corner and behind rocks, barrels or trees.
  • In order to win:
    • You must be the first one to find the egg.
    • You must stand right next to the egg and
    • You must say FOUND YOU to claim it
(Standing there, dancing, saying anything other than I found you will not count.)

  • After that, the Event host will announce that they have been found by character X/Y/Z.

Seasons and Leaderboards

There are in game seasonal events, we will be hosting events which are adequate to the current season.

1st Season (Winter): 1st December - 27th/28th February
2nd Season (Spring): 1st March - 31st May
3rd Season (Summer): 1st June - 31st August
4th Season (Autumn): 1st September - 30th November

  • Every time you win a forum event; your name will be placed on the Leaderboards window.
  • The wins and number of points that you win will be added to the total of points that is visible on the Leaderboards list.
  • If it happens so that you have points dispersed over multiple characters/accounts, we won't convert them into one character.
  • We suggest that you join events on a desired character and keep on doing events with that character to appear on top of the list (This also applies to all other events, participate where you wish to win).
You can access it in the game by pressing ALT+E.

Seasons are tied to how the Leaderboards work, for each season the top 3 placements on Leaderboards will be given special seasonal items.
  • 1st place: Seasonal Outfit + Seasonal Chub Chub pet + Seasonal Title + Event Points
  • 2nd place: Seasonal Chub Chub pet + Seasonal Title + Event Points
  • 3rd place: Seasonal Chub Chub pet + Seasonal Title + Event Points

Graceful Town

Graceful Town is a Event map created to be used by the Event Team to host various events, or for players to simply have fun in it!

The map has to be opened by one of the Event Team members, so if you would like to enter it, simply message one of the ET members!
If the map is opened, there should be a exclamation mark above [NPC]Evette's head and a message is shown on the dialogue window :

Weekly Lottery

Every week you have a chance to win amazing prizes!

In order to participate in the Weekly Lottery, you must speak with the [NPC]Felice Fete at City of Junon Polis. (check the star location below)

Felice has different options to purchase the tickets you can choose from:

Every Friday at 9am of the Server Time there will be 3 winners selected out of the people that bought the tickets.
You will receive a percentage of the total Zulie taken as prizes, Arua Points and Event Points.
1st Place: 40% total, 250 AruaPoints, 25 Event Points
2nd Place: 20% total, 150 AruaPoints, 15 Event Points
3rd Place: 10% total, 100 AruaPoints, 10 Event Points

Example:

  • 1,000 tickets sold at 1,000,000z per ticket = 1,000,000,000z taken
  • 1st Place: 40% of 1,000,000,000 = 400,000,000z Prize
  • 2nd Place: 20% of 1,000,000,000 = 200,000,000z Prize
  • 3rd Place: 10% of 1,000,000,000 = 100,000,000z Prize

The winners are announced in game. You can also check them on our discord channel in the #commands room with a !lottery command.

FAQ
  • I have a really cool event idea, and a suggestion to make a current one better. Where do I submit them?
  • I have been banned from events, what do I do?
    • You can contact us to discuss your ban. We don't guarantee that anything will be reversed. If we catch anyone cheating it's always a risk, and you can potentially get your friends and or family banned from events in the process. So please just try to follow the rules and be respectful.
  • When is the next event?
    • We generally run events around the major holiday seasons that coincide with the official in-game events.
      There's always weekly events which are smaller; such as Game of Chance and Hide and Seek.
      Those will generally have at least 30 minutes notice before they begin. If you miss them it's okay! We try to space them out for different timezones.
  • What do I do if my question is not listed nowhere above in the post or I have a problem with understanding one of the rules?
  • Simply ask one of the Event Team members in-game, on forum or on our discord server. We are more than happy to help you out and make sure you are understanding all the rules and enjoying the game!
